This 12 week Core Strength Pilates programme will fire up your core, make you feel stronger and more flexible, while bringing calmness and balance to mind and body

Your core is crucial to your posture, to a toned mid section, to keeping back pain and hip issues at bay - however, to truly unlock your core you need a good Pilates instructor, which is exactly why I'm here. :)

This programme is not just going to tone up your core - it will also target your legs, bum and arms, which is a nice bonus!

It's suitable for complete beginners as well as for people who are already familiar with Pilates. 

How does our Pilates Get To the Core Programme work?

Our 12 week Pilates programmes has been put together to help strengthen the core while stretching out tight muscle groups.  It also strengthens your arms, shoulders, legs and bum muscles to create a body that is strong, flexible and toned.

The main difference between the Get To The Core Programme and the Back Care Programme is that the latter has been specifically designed for people who suffer from back issues so that none of the exercises put an injured or fragile back at risk. 

Each month, you get a combination of new and repeat classes to create a challenging workout schedule that is focused on helping you improve and get a step closer to achieving your goals.

You can expect:

  • 3 x 30 min new and repeat workouts a week

It means the classes stay on your page and you can always catch up in your own time, but we advise to stick with the schedule to help you improve your back issues within 12 weeks.

Just roll out your mat every other day at a time that is convenient for you and follow the short workout.

Does Pilates work for toning, losing weight and belly fat?

This is a question I often get so I thought I'd answer it here. 

Pilates will absolutely tone up your body and will make your tummy area look tighter, because when the core muscles are tight, you will look slimmer to the eye.

Does Pilates make you lose weight? People tend to lose weight when they commit to a regular exercise regime and watch what they eat and drink. I personally have lost weight by doing regular Pilates and so have some of my members. 

However, it's about finding something you truly enjoy so you can stick with it - and Pilates is a type of exercise that I believe is easy to commit to, because it's clever, functional, challenging and a full-body workout that is powerful. At the same time, when you finish a session, you truly feel calmer and more in balance - which is a lovely side effect.
